What is your OTP? Boromir x Faramir
Why these two exactly? I’m not stellar at the ‘whys and wherefores’ of anything, but if I had to say, it’s because I enjoyed that extended scene in TTT with the two of them, where it was the one moment you knew how close they were. And I’d like to think that even if Boromir “delighted chiefly in arms”, there was room also in his heart for Faramir as brother and lover both.
Plus, the way Faramir looks up at Boromir just before he sets out for Rivendell (like his heart is breaking)?

Personal Headcanon: Boromir lives, and returns to Minas Tirith where he and Faramir both become Stewards to the King. Faramir helps with all the diplomatic meetings and Boromir is like the war council leader if it comes to that.
